Faith Formation

Sacred Heart Faith Formation Program is available to assist parents
in presenting the Christian faith to children.

The Parish Faith Formation Program is the forum for faith foundation
of children and adolescents. It provides catechesis for children K
through 8th grade; a fee is charged to help defray the expense of
textbooks and materials.

Weekly classes run from September to Mid-May, and are held on
Sundays between Masses, in the School building.
Faith Formation begins Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007. Doors open @
9:00 AM and classes begin @ 9:15AM
The following registration forms must be completed by all students
new and returning.
Tuition Fees for Parishioners
One Child = $70
Two Children = $100
Three or more = $120
Tuition Fees for Non-Parishioners
$100 per Child

Student sparticipating in Faith Formation will need to fill out a
Registration Form, an Emergency Medical Form, and provide the
office with a copy of your Baptism Certificate.
Also, we sponsor a Body Safety Program suitable for both students
and adults. Please contact Karen Vidler for more information and
upcoming dates about this important program.

Sacramental Program
Baptism Preparation. The purpose of Baptism Preparation is to
instruct parents on the Theology and Ritual celebration of this
Sacrament. Contact the Rectory.
First Penance formally prepares children to celebrate this
sacrament in Grade 2, given they have attended and actively
participated in one full year of Catechetical instruction prior to the
Sacrament's reception.
First Communion formally prepares children to celebrate this
sacrament in Grade 3 given that they have received the Sacrament
of Penance. Preparation for First Penance and First Communion
involves parent participation and is separate from graded
curriculum.
