Sacred Heart Church

The Parish Pastoral Council, which consist of twelve members of the parish, serves as a consultative body to the pastor in providing leadership and vision to Sacred Heart Parish. The Council meets on a montly basis (except July) with the Pastor. The Council both responds to issues brought to it by the Pastor providing him with advise and guidance and brings issues to the pastor. The Pastor and Council act as a collaborative body.

Shorty, we will start posting minutes of the council meetings. As time permits, minutes from the past year will also be posted.

On a personal note, I have a great deal of gratitude to our council for the guidance and suggestions they have provided me as pastor and for our parish as a whole. I must give credit for much of the good that has happened at our parish to the leadership of our council members. To give but one example, making this website a priority came out of our council's discussions and establishing goals and priorities for our parish. - Fr. Ian
