Sacred Heart Holy Name Society is a social organization
witha 64-year history of service to Sacred Heart Church.
This men's Society is strongly oriented toward our church
community sponsoring the annual outing fot the parish altar
servers, a Father/Child breakfast, annual Children's
Christmas Party, and a scholarship for a high school
student planning to attend college. We have an annual
spaghetti dinner, as well as a port-a-pit chicken fund raiser.
We are responsible for the cleaning of the church carpets
as well as the cleaning of the jackets used by the ushers.

All male parishioners at Sacred Heart parish, at least of
high school age, are eligible to join. We meet monthly on
the second Sunday for Holy Corporate Communion at the
8:00 a.m. mass with a meeting immediately following in the
Parish Hall.

Altar and Rosary Society

The women of the Sacred Heart Altar Rosary Society
gather monthly to recite the Rosary,provide assistance
(spiritually, financially, and physically) in parish activities,
maintain the Church Altars, Altar Server and Clerical
Vestments, and items deemed necessary by the Pastor.

Being an active member of this Society gives a personal
satisfaction through friendship, humanitarian service and in
a deepending spiritual relationship with the Blessed Mother
through the recitation of the rosary. During the months of
May and October the Society invites the Parish to celebrate
the recitation of the Rosary, Monday evenings at 6:30 p.m.
in the Church.

The Society celebrates Corporate Holy Communion the
First Sunday monthly at the 8:00 Mass; meetings are held
in the hall of the School Building the first Monday monthly
at 7 p.m. Membership is open to all ladies in the Parish
18-years and older.
